Adult Faith Formation

Bible Study, Christian Spirituality Small Group and More

We believe that Christian Formation is for everyone!
We frequently host Bible Study groups, New Member groups and Book Study groups. Our Book Study group will read and discuss the book of Revelation on Fridays, 10:00 am, October through December, in the Olcott Room.

Wednesday night forum — 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the Month

Join us every first and third Wednesday of the month after the 6 pm meal for a Cafe Discussion on building discipleship. This adult version of this fall’s youth group programming will let parishioners discuss and examine our walk in faith, while parents of teens can continue the conversation on the drive home and beyond.

Feast of All Saints

Sunday, November 1, 10:00 am

We remember all the blessed saints who have gone before us on All Saints Day, which will be solemnly celebrated at St. Paul’s on Sunday, November 1. The names of our faithful departed will be read aloud at the 10 am service on All Saints’ Day. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite saint. We also have six children getting baptized that day!

Wednesday evening Eucharist and Programming is going strong! We have youth groups and adult forums scheduled for the first and third Wednesdays. Check the current issue of The Messenger for the specific dates and details.

Practicing the Way of Jesus

Thursdays, October 1–December 3

This program focuses on training us to live as an apprentice of Jesus. It will be offered on Thursday mornings at 10 am in the Parish Hall with coffee and fellowship as we journey together following the Way of Jesus. There is no cost to you. Please email Deacon Pat at deacon@stpaulsduluth.org to sign up.

There will be three more groups focusing on some of the Spiritual Practices from PTW. Scripture as Spiritual Practice starts on Tuesday, November 3 – see The Messenger for more information.

Night Out at a Movie with St. Paul’s

The Philadelphia Eleven Film

Zinema, 222 E. Superior St., Duluth
Join your St. Paul’s friends for a screening of the 2023 documentary film “The Philadelphia Eleven” at Zinema. The Philadelphia Eleven are the first women ordained priests in the Episcopal Church on July 29, 1974, two years before General Convention affirmed and explicitly authorized the ordination of women to the priesthood. In honor of this group of eleven brave women, we scheduled this film screening for Wednesday, November 11! Meet at Zinema at 6:30 pm. Tickets will be sold only through St. Paul’s Parish Office. Choose a price: $11.11 to honor the group of eleven women; OR $52.00 to honor the 52 years since their ordination!
Make check payable to St. Paul’s, or use the website to pay electronically (choose Event Registration for the fund). Either way, please contact Rita in the Parish Office (218-724-3535) to reserve a spot!
