Children & Youth Ministry Feedback Gathering

Sunday, June 28, 11:15 am

Maggie and Sophie would like feedback from families with children of all ages (birth to 18) about St. Paul’s children and youth programs this last year. We want to build the best possible program for 2026-2027, and we need as many parents to provide feedback as possible. We are considering a tween youth group for 4-6th grade students, and need assistance on picking the best time for this activity.

Your RSVP helps us plan and not nag you. 🙂 Please contact rector@stpaulsduluth.org to let us know you are coming.

Two young girls smile and hold a tray of heart-shaped cookies with pink and red frosting and sprinkles. They are in a room with tables and chairs, likely participating in a fun cooking or baking activity.

Lake Superior Sunday

Sunday, July 19, 9:45 am – Note Change in Time!

St. Andrew’s by the Lake Episcopal Church
2802 Minnesota Ave., Duluth

We will once again celebrate Lake Superior Sunday together with St. Andrew’s by the Lake! Join us for beach church, a relaxed Eucharist on the shores of the Greatest of the Lakes. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Note, we will start the service at 9:45 am, which is St. Andrew’s typical start time. (This allows us to time our arrival with the bridge). Carpooling from St. Paul’s is encouraged. Since the beach is not accessible for folks with limited mobility, our 8:00 am service will be held at St. Paul’s for anyone who cannot join us. If it rains, or conditions do not allow for beach church, we will worship in St. Andrew’s sanctuary.

Adult Faith Formation

Bible Study, Christian Spirituality Small Group and More

We believe that Christian Formation is for everyone!
We frequently host Bible Study groups, New Member groups and Book Study groups. Our next Book Study group is discussing The Book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Fridays, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

Another Bible Study group is studying the Prophets, with the Rev. Sue Sommer. The Old Testament gives us a wealth of other prophetic voices, all of whom spoke words not their own to leaders who did not want to hear it.
Thursdays, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

For more information, please contact Maggie at rector@stpaulsduluth.org.

Thank you for supporting Laundry Love

St. Paul’s Outreach Committee thanks the volunteers, gardeners and customers who together raised over $1500 to fund our Laundry Love ministry. This program brings together our church volunteers and people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry. It takes place on Tuesday mornings in a local laundromat.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
