 What: Go to the edge this summer for Vacation Bible School.
 Camp E.D.G.E.: Experience + Discover God Everywhere
is an extreme adventure camp taking kids on exciting Bible treks to experience and discover God everywhere, every day.  Each Bible trek is supported with science activities, songs, crafts, games, and snacks.

 Where:  St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 1710 E. Superior St.
When:  July 13-17 9am-noon (Friday until 1pm)
Who:   Kids ages 4-12 (older kids will be junior camp counselors)
Cost:  $15 for 1 child, $25 for two kids in family, $40 3+

Complete the registration form
and return it with fee by June 1, 2009

We are in need of the following items to help us decorate for our Camp Edge VBS which will be held July 13-17.  Please look through your closets, garages, attics, etc. and see what you have.  You can drop items off starting now during the week to the kitchen, or on Sunday mornings you can give them to Sue.  If you would like the items back, please mark them with your last name and also leave a note indicating you would like them back and attach it to the items.  The more donations we have, the less expensive it is for us. 

• Props/Decorations: Tents - the kind that we could set up in the hall so they can’t be the ones that have to be anchored in the ground, sleeping bags, lanterns, camping gear, artificial Christmas trees with no lights, campfire wood, pinecones, stuffed animals (raccoons, bears and other forest wildlife), camp stools, metal plates, bowls and utensils, marshmallow roasting tongs. Again, if you would like the items returned, please mark your name somewhere on the item so we can keep track of them.

***Also, there are many ways that parishioners can experience the fun of VBS July 13-17.  Take an hour or two and be a part of Camp E.D.G.E. (Explore and Discover God Everywhere!)

• Help out with snacks for one of the days from 9:30am-10:30am

• Help decorate the hall and rooms starting July 7, come for a hour or two

• Take some of the t-shirts home and iron on the transfer that goes on the front of the shirt

• Help out with the celebration lunch on Friday, July 17

• Be a story teller for one of the story times during the week

• Help lead the outdoor games one of the days

• Pray for the kids that they truly discover God everywhere
