Calling all Creatures Great and Small

The annual blessing of the animals will be held on
Sunday, October 7 at 3:30 p.m.

We will gather on the church’s front lawn, 1710 E. Superior Street and process with liturgical kites to the parish hall. In case of inclement weather go directly to the parish hall- the lower level of the church - Greysolon Road entrance.

Bring your pets, a picture of a pet, or a favorite stuffed animal and join us for a short service which includes special music, colorful liturgical kites and a blessing for each individual animal. There is a special prayer for animals who died during the past year.

The service is followed by treats (for humans and pets). Dogs and cats will receive a free pet supply. Even if you don’t have a pet to bring, please feel welcome to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship
