Items Needed for Vacation Bible School...

We are in need of the following items to help us decorate for our Beach Party VBS which will be held July 14-18. Please look through your closets, garages, attics, etc. and see what you have. You can drop items off starting now during the week to the kitchen, or on Sunday mornings you can give them to Sue. If you would like the items back, please mark them with your last name and also leave a note indicating you would like them back and attach it to the items. The more donations we have, the less expensive it is for us. Thanks, Sue Van Oss.

Beach balls, beach pails, shovels, small wading pools, tiki torches, sea shells, hula skirts, flamingos, palm trees or other tropical plants (real, artificial, and/or inflatable), any type of tropical or beach-type decorations; two sets of louvered closet doors, surfboards, beach towels, beach umbrella, etc. Use your imagination and help us transform our church into a beach scene.

Memorial Day Hours

Memorial Day is a day when we take time to remember—remember those lost in war as well as all our loved ones whose earthly lives have come to an end. For those who would like to come to St. Paul’s Columbarium, the Greysolon and Superior Street (chapel level) entrances will be open between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and Noon on Monday, May 26th and Barb Hauck will be in the office.

Pow Wow!

St. Enmegahbowh’s, (formerly St. Edward’s), 4401 Glenwood, Lakeside, Where The Feather Meets the Cross services are held on Sunday evenings is holding a Pow Wow. Rain or Shine. Intertribal Celebration of Culture and Spirituality.
Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pow Wow, music, dance and poetry. Feast at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome and there is no fee.

ages 4-12
                                    (middle and high school helpers needed!)
                              Spend a whole week this summer at a huge Beach Party complete with surfing lessons,
                                 great beach music, beachcombing adventures and more!
