Wednesday Community Nights

Starting Wednesday, September 20, a simple supper awaits members and guests of St. Paul’s.  This program is an opportunity for those of all ages to “break bread” together in the middle of the week.  Food for the spirit is provided at 5:30 p.m. in the form of Eucharist in the main church.  Food for the body will be served in the form of a simple supper at 6:10 p.m. in the parish hall.  Diners are invited to give a small donation to cover the cost of the meal with the money exceeding expenses going to the CHUM food shelf.  Food for the mind and heart will follow from 6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. in the form of various programs/reflections/events.  It is hoped that members will stay for one of the options that will be available after the meal.  The options will be announced in the bulletin and monthly messenger but may include adult discussion book club, young parent's group, young adults group, children’s choir and bell choir practice, and occasionally an event for all ages to participate in together.   Childcare will be provided in the nursery for younger children and older children will be supervised in the preschool room on the lower level where they can do homework, read, draw, or play board games together.
